Two GRVS members traveled to Galesburg, IL with t-trak modules to be part of the model train show at the Galesburg Railroad Days. The show is held at the Carl Sandburg Community College and had a number of layouts and dealers. At least four of the dealers had substantial quanities of n-scale merchandise so the usual temptation to shop was available.
The t-trak layout included modules from GRVS and the Bloomington-Normal, IL club.
The height of the t-trak layout made it popular with the children. We had one three year old who spent two hours following the trains and then came back on the way out of the show. To our surprise, Grandpa brought him back on Sunday for more following trains around our layout.
The most poplular module was Thom Joyce's Spaceship with aliens in the swimming pool.
