Two GRVS members headed up to Thunder Bay, Canada for their train show the weekend of October 25, 26. The show is held every other year and the proceeds go to the Lion’s Club which in turn donates all the proceeds to a local children’s hospital. It was a small show with about a dozen layouts but it was well attended and over $4,000 was raised and donated this year. We were also treated very well by our Canadian hosts with two dinners provided while we up there. We plan to head back up in 2010.
