The State Fair show went good. Set up on Friday when fast and smooth.
Several of us spent time with kids letting them drive trains around the layout. The kids (and their parents) really enjoyed this. In fact there was one that couldn’t be much older than 8 years) who was really a good engineer, he was switching cars in and out like a pro. We were really impressed and when talking to his parents, WE learned that they have a couple home layouts, and his grandpa has a home layout too. Apparently they’ve been teaching this young boy how to do operations.
At the end of the show, the layout was disassembled and put away in about 25 minutes.
