Eight GRVS members attended the show and participated in both a large N-trak layout coordinated by Milwaukee Area N-trak (MANtrak) and in a T-trak layout coordinated by Thom Joyce (Bloomington/Normal, IL). The area also included a stand-alone portable n-scale layout. The combined display won an award for the best use of space.
The N-TRAK layout was organized by the Milwaukee Area N-TRAK club (MANtrak) and included modules from a number of clubs. The layout had three loops joined by junction modules with the outer or red line track run using Digitrax DCC. The two inner tracks in each loop were powered using mechanisms provided by the clubs involved with each loop.
The following diagram represents the layout plan before adjustments made on site.
